Houses & More Real Estate’s 7th annual “Share the Love” Pet Food Drive focused on lending a paw to Preston County pets in need during the 2021 Valentine’s Day month of February. Cat and dog food donations were collected throughout the month help local pet owners provide for their furry family members. Despite the financial challenges many face due to the COVID-19 pandemic, animal loving donors helped exceed expectations and made this the most successful pet drive that Houses & More has held thus far.

The challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic have had an impact on pets and their owners. "In this isolating time of social distancing, many people rely heavily on their pet for companionship. Donated pet food and supplies can be the help a family needs to keep a beloved pet at home and out of overcrowded shelters," said Jessica Lipscomb, Broker of Houses & More Real Estate.
Any brand of unexpired and unopened cat and dog food & any type of cat and dog pet supply was accepted at the Houses & More office, located at 400 E Main Street, Kingwood, WV. Pet lovers dropped off donations in the office from 9 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday, and a donation box was located outside the office door all other hours for the convenience of donors.
All donations were given to the Raymond Wolfe Center to assist Preston County families in need of pet food and supplies. In need of pet food? Contact Alix Evans at the Raymond Wolfe Center in Kingwood at 304.329.3644.
