PRESTON COUNTY REALTOR® Named “REALTOR® of the Year” by the
WV Association of REALTORS®
Jessica Miller Lipscomb is honored as West Virginia’s 2020 “REALTOR®
of the Year”
On November 18th, Preston County-based real estate broker Jessica Miller Lipscomb was named “REALTOR® of the Year” by the West Virginia Association of REALTORS® via a Zoom awards ceremony held with REALTORS® from around the state.
Lipscomb
has been working in the real estate industry for 12 years and is a past
President of the Morgantown Board of REALTORS®. She has served on two
national committees for the National Association of REALTORS® and has
served as a State Director and two terms as Secretary of the WV Association of REALTORS®. “My career in real estate is not a job, but a
passion. This award is a bright spot in a challenging year – my colleagues and
I from around the state have worked hard to meet the changing needs of home
buyers and sellers in 2020, so residents can continue obtaining the American
dream of homeownership. WV has the highest rate of homeownership in the country.
We all should be really proud of that - I sure am! I love selling homes and
property in WV – there’s nowhere else I’d want to call home, and getting to
share my community pride with buyers is really fulfilling.”
The Morgantown Board of REALTORS® honored Lipscomb with the “Rising
Star” award in 2013, the “President’s Award” in 2015, and the local “REALTOR® of the
Year” award in 2016. She was named a “WV Wonder Woman” by WV Living Magazine in
2016, a “40 Under 40” by the State Journal in 2017, and she received the “Rising
Star” award from the WV Association of REALTORS® in 2019. In 2020, Lipscomb’s
brokerage Houses & More was named “Best Real Estate Company” and Lipscomb
was named “Best Real Estate Agent” by the Preston News & Journal “Preston
Picks”.
Lipscomb resides in Kingwood with her husband Mike, daughter Dylan Alexandra, and dog Colt.
